KV1275-011 is a standard flange-mounted air/oil separator cartridge designed for industrial screw and reciprocating air compressors.

Core Product Functions

During the operation of the screw air compressor, lubricating oil is discharged together with compressed air, forming high-concentration oil mist. The core function of KV1275-011 is to adopt the physical condensation principle to intercept, gather and separate micron-sized oil droplets in compressed air. The oil droplets flow back to the lubrication system of the main unit, while clean, oil-free compressed air is delivered to the downstream, so as to protect downstream gas-using equipment and reduce lubricating oil consumption.

Core Advantages and Technical Features

• Ultra-low residual oil content (high-efficiency purification): Adopts multi-layer composite microfiber (glass fiber) coalescing filter media, which can strictly control the residual oil content in exhaust gas within 2 - 3 ppm to ensure high purity of downstream air.

• Low initial pressure drop (energy saving and low power consumption): The optimized porosity of the filter media results in an initial saturated pressure drop of only 2 - 3 psi (0.14 - 0.21 bar), minimizing the power loss of the air compressor.

• High-strength anti-collapse structure: The inner and outer frames are integrally formed with thickened perforated galvanized steel (or stainless steel). It features extremely high mechanical strength and can withstand an instantaneous high pressure differential of up to 70 psi (5.0 bar) without deformation.

• Anti-static safety design: The separator is equipped with conductive anti-static tabs (static discharge pins), which effectively eliminate static electricity generated by friction of high-velocity airflow, prevent flash fire inside the cabinet, and ensure production safety.
